Koketit transforms the swimming pool into a work of art, developing each drawing in response to the architecture, scale and movement of the water.
STAR ISLAND, MIAMI
RICK ROSS RESIDENCE
The project began with a DM. Rick Ross discovered Koketit on Instagram and reached out directly; Barzilay’s first response was to make sure it was really him.The conversation evolved into a site-specific commission for Ross’s waterfront home on Miami’s Star Island. Koketit’s drawing of two faces was developed for the pool’s exact proportions and viewpoints, then translated into a full-scale mosaic.
Featured in Architectural Digest, the completed pool marked a defining moment for Koketit Pool Art: a digital vision transformed into a permanent work at architectural scale.

Beneath the water, the artwork is never static. Light, reflections and movement continually shift the line, turning the pool into a living canvas and making the surrounding architecture part of the composition.
